In a ten image series titled Truckers shot along the Central Coast of California, I sought to learn about the seemingly marginalized community of long haul truckers and challenge the conventional idea of what a Home is. The men and women driving countless hours to transport our produce, furniture, and overnight shipments work tirelessly with little to no recognition. While living thousands of miles away from their families and friends, the truckers i met during this series were equipped with necessities to create a comfortable life on the road. whether they traveled with their dogs, had cabins rigged with an xbox, television, and mini fridge, or mapped their routes to stop by favorable diners, each trucker I met had the same underlying drive to continue trucking. The endless possibility of the open road and the serenity of landscapes throughout each passing season.

This is the most memorable series I have shot to date and will continue shooting in the near future discussing the forthcoming changes in the autonomous trucking industry.
